The Ghost Car Normally, When you finish a race in the time attack mode, you can save a "ghost" of your car's run through the track and then race against yourself in future Time Attack Races. To do this, load your saved ghost car from a memory card. This code will enable a Sony Ghost Car which will show you a perfect run throught the tracks which will help you achieve a better time. To enable this code do the following: 1. First insert your memory card. The memory must not have any previous Ghost Car data. 2. Go to the Main Menu, highlight and select "Time Attack." 3. Highlight "Load Ghost Car from Video." 4. Then press and hold R1 and X or Circle button, this should bring you to a screen that says "Select a Video to Load." 5. The only selection available will be "11:TEAM SCEI 2:33.07." 6. Press the X or the Circle button to load the ghost and this will eventually bring you to a "Ghost Loaded" screen. 7. Finally, just press the X or Circle button to confirm the load, then start a Time Attack Race like normal to see how you perform against Sony's best. Advanced Options Hold down L1+L2+R1+R2 while choosing options for a list of advanced options. Debug Mode This code should allow you to obtain the Goodies you would normally only get by finishing a race in the different difficulties. Choose Goodies from the Main Menu, hold down any of the shoulder buttons and press SELECT. You will now see four numbers in the lower right corner of the screen. For this screen, each shoulder button is equal to a fixed number. By entering different combinations of shoulder buttons, you should be able to enter each four digit code to access the Goodies. Hold down the correct shoulder buttons and press START to enter the difit. Repeat until you have entered all four. Key: R1 = 1 R2 = 2 L1 = 4 L2 = 8 SELECT = enter digit Goodies Number Extra Tracks - 4154 Tank Combat - 5443 Submarine X - 5358 Motor Toon R - 4631 Expanded Options To access an expanded options Menu, hold down L1+L2+R1+R2 and press X while selecting 'Option' on the Main Menu screen. SCEI Replays Hold down R1 when selecting any memory card accessing option to divert the game to the built-in SCEI replays of the game. You should now be able to watch or race against ghosts of the SCEI team's best times.
