NFL Gameday 97 Cheats/Hints

To get to Easter Egg Screen:

At one of the pre-game screen where options are:
START GAME
ROSTER
OPTIONS
STATISTICS

The top of the screen says either SEASON or PRESEASON-- it depends on 
which one of the two seasons you are playing-- and the NFL logo is 
spinning in the upper left corner of the screen.  At this screen push these 
buttons successively to enter the Easter Egg Screen: L1, R1, L2, R2.

Then push the X button to enter or remove the codes below (pushing the O 
button when a letter or number is highlighted will select that letter or 
number).

        We all know that Gameday '97 has a bit of quirk, wherein you cannot
remove the last Easter Egg from the Easter Egg screen.  However, I
have been able to remove the last Easter Egg 100% of the time - here's
how.

        Delete all Easter Eggs you can.  One will remain.
        Enter the Easter Egg "doc"
        Delete the leftover Easter Egg.
        Delete "doc"
        Voila!  Empty Easter Egg screen.

        I don't know why this works, but it does.  Often, it seems that when
you try to erase an Easter Egg, Gameday simply erases the preceding
Easter Egg, but not the one you just tried to remove.  But with "doc"
Gameday erases the same Egg you choose.  Strange stuff.
